Once again,Tagliamonte takes inspiration from ancient mythology with this 14K cameo pendant. It showcases an oval cameo with a beautiful three dimensional depiction of Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers and spring. Her association with spring gave her particular importance at the coming of springtime, as did her role as goddess of youth. This cameo is created with such depth and the richness of the Repoussé craftsmanship is exquisite. Above the cameo is an oval black Onyx cabochon accent. There is a large piece of mother of pearl that has been placed in the undergallery.
The pendant has been paired with a lovely basketweave choker style necklace manufactured by Milor, another Italian company. It is very airy and looks quite impressive on the neckline. The entire ensemble is 15.5 grams and is thus very comfortable to wear. Lots of bang for the buck! Lobsterclaw clasp.
