Tagliamonte never ceases to astound me with their unique carvings. This lovely pendant is no different! The lower cameo is hand carved from a natural 2 color Agate stone. Imagine what difficulty in carving this design. Great care is taken when carving the white layer without disturbing the lower blue layer This sublimely blue and white carving features the powerful Medusa. The cameo is set in a bezel made from 18K Gold over Sterling Silver. The alternating plated cameo features Mercury, also in bas relief. In between there is a classic Tagliamonte column with a freshwater pearl on either end and a Blue Topaz cabochon in the center. Enhancer bail. Chain not included.
