Maria Pearl passed away at the young age of 16 from an AVM which is similar to a brain aneurysm. Her story is that of a beautiful girl who sought to make difference in the lives of others in some way, everyday of her life.
The Tupelo Honey Story
A verse from a song reminded Jim of his daughter, Maria Pearl;
She's an Angel in the first degree.
She's as sweet as Tupelo Honey.
Like taking honey from the bee."
Jim and Maria Pearl had planned to dance to
this song on her wedding day. On occasion
they practiced while the song played on
the jukebox. However, the dance was not
meant to be; but Jim has constant memories
of his Maria Pearl and every morning when he
spreads his Tupelo Honey on toast, he is
reminded of how sweet she was and
will always be.
Take some time each day to reflect on the
sweetness that lies in each of your own
Lori, Jim, Lauren and Maria Pearl in Spirit...
Tupelo Honey is the gold standard by which all other honey varieties are measured. For two weeks every spring, White (Ogeche) Tupelo Trees in the Southeastern swamps bloom with fine sunburst-shaped flowers that glisten with nectar. Savannah Bee Company Tupelo Honey has buttery undertones and a mellow, clean-finishing sweetness. It's like a thick, slow-moving river of liquid sunshine. Tupelo Honey complements a variety of foods but it's so delicious, we like it best just by the spoonful! It makes one of the most special gifts you can ever give!
Sold in a 20 oz. Tall Flute

"Honey is either the exudation of the sky, or a sort of sap of stars, or a juice released by the air."
