Once again, Tagliamonte takes inspiration from ancient mythology with this beautiful pendant. It is crafted from 18K Vermeil over Sterling Silver and It showcases a portion of the sculpture called Ages of Love by Bertil Thorvaldsen. This scene depicts a tribute to Maternity or Motherhood where we can see an angel at the market choosing a cherub from a large basket in front of her and then she hands it to a woman becoming a new mother. It is one of my favorite themes, and now you can appreciate it every day as part of your jewelry collection. The cameo is set in a beaded frame. A fancy column with a rosette in the center rests on top of the cameo. Such beautiful finish work that is extremely labor intensive and unsurpassed.
