The cameo itself is hand made in in solid 18K yellow gold and is very subtantial in gold weight. It features the lovely goddess, Aurora, driving her chariot. She is the personification of dawn and every morning she and her horses drive the sun into the morning sky. The oval frame has an Etruscan style beaded edge. There is a great deal of physical depth to this pendant which adds greater presence. There is also a large enhancer bail with safety that will accommodate a large variety of chains and cords.
