TAGLIAMONTE Designs (2237E) 925SS/YGP Double Drop Cameo Earrings*Ganymede*Reg.$280
$200.00
Tagliamonte takes inspiration from ancient mythology with this pair of 18K gold over 925 Sterling Silver double drop cameo earrings. Starting from the top, the teal blue cameo is carved from Venetian glass and features Ganymede and his large urn. The second cameo in black is also in teal blue and features the wise Owl. Each is set in a simple gold plated bezel. Between the two cameos is a round faceted Amethyst gemstone. These are sure to garner a lot of interest as you wear them! Hook with safety.
Zeus rewarded Ganymede with immortality and eternal youth, immortalising him as the constellation of Aquarius, forever pouring water from a vase or an urn.
The owl became a symbol of wisdom, representing the ability to see beyond the surface and discern truth in the shadows.
