$300.00
Tagliamonte Venetian cameo jewelry represents an artistry from a bygone era. This pendant is created entirely by hand. It is crafted in 18K gold over Sterling Silver. The Venetian cameo features a 3 dimensional carving of Arethusa in a soft aqua blue color. It is set in a substantial bezel and adorned with (4) 6mm freshwater cultured pearls. The pearl has been set in a beaded cup. The name Arethusa is of Greek origin and means Swift Water. In Greek mythology, Arethusa was a nymph who was transformed into a fountain by the goddess Artemis to protect her from the advances of the river god Alpheus. The name's association with water reflects the swift-flowing nature of the mythical fountain. Enhancer Bail. Chain is not included.
